ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the clinical value of combined application of bone imaging and prostate specific antigen(t -PSA),free prostate specific antigen(f -PSA)and alkaline phosphatase(ALP)in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer bone metastasis.Methods The data of 372 patients diagnosed of prostate cancer were reviewed,and the results of the whole body bone scan and t -PSA,f -PSA,ALP were analyzed retrospectively. Results 282 cases in 372 cases of prostate cancer were diagnosed as bone metastasis.The t -PSA,f -PSA and ALP of prostate cancer patients with metastasis were significantly higher than those of prostate cancer patients without metastasis,the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).The sensitivity of bone imaging in the diagnosis of bone metastases was 91.84%,the specificity was 76.67%,the accuracy was 88.17%,the positive predictive value was 92.50%,the negative predictive value was 75.00%.The combined application of bone scan and serum t -PSA, f -PSA,ALP detection,the sensitivity of the diagnosis of bone metastasis of prostate cancer was 95.71%,specificity was 87.69%,accuracy was 94.36%,the positive predictive value was 87.56%,the negative predictive value was 92.22%.Conclusion Combined application of whole body bone scan and serum t -PSA,f -PSA,ALP detection has high sensitivity and accuracy in diagnosis of bone metastasis of prostate cancer,and it can provide reliable basis for early diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of prostate cancer.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC)pulmonary me-tastasis treated with radioactive iodine (131 I)the curative effect,analysis the relevant factors influencing the treatment effect.Methods Ninety -four patients with DTC pulmonary metastasis from thyroid cancer sur-gery after 131 I therapy,combined with the specific situation of the patients,the treatment of 131 for the first time for 3.7 ~7.4 GBq (mCi)100 ~200,using 1 oral medication on an empty stomach.after 6 months e-valuate the short-term curative effect.Analysis on age,gender,131 I treatment dose,for the first time before the first treatment serum thyroglobulin (Tg)levels and characteristics of pulmonary metastases to the effects of short-term curative effect of 131 I treatment.Results Ninety -four patients with DTC pulmonary metasta-sis for the first time after the end of 131 I treatment for 3 months short-term curative effect evaluation,a total of 30 cases cured (31%),29 cases improved (32%),35 cases (37%),effective rate was 63% (59 /94).During follow-up,94 patients with DTC lung turn 7 cases in new organs other than lung metastases,3 cases died.Female patients curative effect was better than that of men,for the first time before preoperative staging.treatment the curative effect of serum Tg level lower than level higher (P <0.05).Conclusions 131 I treatment of differentiated thyroid cancer metastasis has good curative effect,age,size of metastases, presence of other parts of the transfer,for the first time before 131 I treatment of Tg levels are the main factors influencing the effect of 131 I treatment,including age,metastases diameter less than 1 cm,no merger Other parts of the transfer for the first time,lower Tg level before 131 I therapy for patients with 131 I treatment effect is valuable.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the value of 11C-choline PET-CT imaging in the diagnosis of benign and malignant prostate lesions with high PSA.Methods A retrospective analysis of 11C-choline PET-CT imaging results of 43 prostate lesions cases with high PSA, including 21 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia, 22 cases of prostate cancer, all cases were diagnosed by histopathology , data was accessed 5min after injection of 11C-choline , if suspected of metastasis, whole body 11C-choline PET-CT imaging was done.Standardized uptake value ( SUV) of prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer were calculated and analysed.Results More uniform uptake of the imaging agent showed in benign prostatic hyperplasia, uptake in the mild metabolic or nodular prostate symmetry slightly increased, the average SUV value 1.70 ± 1.09;focal asymmetry abnormal imaging agent uptake or diffuse abnormal uptake of the imaging agent of prostate cancer manifested in 11C-choline PET/CT imaging for prostate heterogeneity were increased, the average SUV values 3.29 ±1.55;The two groups had statistically significant.Four pelvic and retroperitone-al lymph node metastasis cases ,nine cases of bone metastasis and three cases of lung metastases was found in 11C-choline PET/CT imaging.Conclusions 11C-choline PET-CT imaging is not only a better differ-ential noninvasive imaging diagnosis method of benign and malignant prostate lesions with high PSA, but al-so has contribution to accurate preoperative staging of prostate cancer.
